“I
thought that I knew a lot about Nebraska City
since I was raised here; but as I attended the LNC day sessions, I found out there are many
hidden treasures in our community. We have a
great network of volunteers, organizations, and
businesses working together to help provide a
better quality life for the citizens of Nebraska
City and Otoe County. I also found out that
there are many organizations and boards looking
for additional volunteers. So, if you have a
talent or passion of any kind (i.e. gardening,
children, biking); you can become involved with
an organization with similar interests and put
your talents to good use while making a stronger
community”.
